The Trust owns and operates three retirement villages:

Tamahere Eventide Retirement Village (108 villas) in Tamahere, Hamilton - At Tamahere Eventide a considerable level of services are available such as a community centre, cafe, bowling green and emergency call bell system as a few examples. Residential Care available includes Rest Home Care, Dementia Care and Hospital Care. Respite care is also available as well as a day programme.
Atawhai Assisi Retirement Village (25 villas) in Matangi, Hamilton - Atawhai Assisi is a brand new village with 25 completed villas and a community centre that will open n December. A further 37 villas are to be developed. Residential Care available includes Rest Home Care and Hospital Care. Respite care is also available as well as a day programme.
Wesley Courts Retirement Village in Thames (9 villas) - This is a small village with services limited to lawn mowing, gardening and maintenance through contractors. No care is available.

Our retirement village has a mix of 99 two bedroom homes and 9 three bedroom villas.They are surrounded by attractive gardens and the rural beauty of Tamahere. With Hillcrest shopping centre only a few minutes drive away, you can enjoy nature but still with the comforts of urban life.

Tamahere Eventide Retirement Village has a bustling life of its own, with regular organised day-trips to stunning locations, group exercise at thecommunity centre, outdoor bowls, workshop and petanque games, hobby groups – just to name a few! Meanwhile, your garden and lawn maintenance, security and refuse collection is all managed for you, leaving you free to enjoy the community.

When you’re wanting to connect with family and friends, the irresistible Cherry Blossom Café is an excellent location for tasty snacks and great value coffee. Located on site at Tamahere Eventide, our café is one of the hubs to our caring community atmosphere. If you require extra help in your living situation, nursing care, meal delivery, cleaning services and transportation are always available for you to be organised. A Registered Nurse will be onsite 24 hours a day, and all our homes have specialised emergency call systems in place. With our onsite chapel, beautiful all-weather bowling green and our kind-hearted, professional staff, Tamahere Eventide Retirement Village welcomes your inquiries and visitors to experience the community that we are so very proud of.

With attractive gardens, a quiet rural setting and yet located just a few kilometers from Hamilton, Tamahere Eventide is a warm and welcoming community where our residents’ personalities and individuality are encouraged to flourish.

Our independent living options provide comfortable homes where our residents can enjoy their retirement and freedom, while having a strong, supportive community around them and help when needed. This gives our residents the best of both worlds – the independence they desire and a tight knit, warm group of others to share this with.

Tamahere Eventide offers 16 comfortable apartments and 108 warm homes in the Retirement Village. These are available in a range of sizes, but all offer the same caring community and professional management that you can expect from us.

With a Registered Nurse onsite, 24 hours of the day, the option to have meals delivered to your new home, professional security and a wealth of activities and trips on offer, Tamahere Eventide is the perfect community to join – and to call home.
